Being Certified just means that you passed tests that show you "know your stuff" in certain areas. A Certification is as important or more important then a college education for someone in the computer field.
>> Novell has 2 diffrent types of certification either CNA (Certified Novell Administrator) or CNE (Certified Novell Engineer).
>> Microsoft has several Certifications available also like MCP, MCSE, MCSD, MCPS, etc. Certified Microsoft Office User (CMOU). Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) Microsoft Certified Product Specialist (MCPS) MCPS: Internet Systems Credential
Three levels of certification are available -- Proficient User, Expert User, Microsoft Office Expert - and training can be found at locations across the country.
